But in just over two years I have managed to churn out two hundred articles with thanks in order to the London Evening Standard for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/hp\/front\/plot-to-rid-council-estates-of-poor-6704870.html\">Plot to rid council estates of poor<\/a> which started all this off on 9th July 2009.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8877\" style=\"border: 0pt none;\" title=\"welcome1- grey\" src=\"https:\/\/singleaspect.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/welcome1-grey.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"71\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->That one article triggered an intense study on my part of so called regeneration (de-house the poor) across London, and a keen interest in the <a href=\"https:\/\/c20society.org.uk\/\">C20th Society<\/a> to whom a great debt of thanks is due for all their walks and talks which have taken my architectural knowledge from a low base to what you see on this blog.<\/p>\n<p>Thirdly <a href=\"https:\/\/open-city.org.uk\/\">London Open House<\/a> which has provided myself and many others with both the opportunity and the inspiration to study buildings inside and out and I have had many happy excursions both with and without the London Open House weekends.<\/p>\n<p>Last and by no means least contact with other bloggers, journalists, architects, residents, councillors and politicians.\u00a0 Links which have all been made as a direct result of my interest in housing and my fear for the well being of those most in need of truly affordable and well designed housing.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to everybody who reads this blog and especially to those who occasionally write in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/singleaspect.org.uk\/?p=8781\">World&#8217;s End Chelsea &#8211; the article itself<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight I&#8217;ve reached something of a milestone for the blog.\u00a0 They may not all be great writing, they may not all have good photographs or indeed any photographs.
