Clothed in a lurid dazzle camouflage of yellow and orange zigzags, this is S333\u2019s \u00a37.5 million Arch Street development: a courtyard scheme that brings 52 units to the Southwark Regen brag sheet, 18 of which are for affordable rent.<\/p>\n<p>With its shamelessly garish garb \u2013 as loud as the roar of the traffic along New Kent Road \u2013 the building has been the subject of some mockery, recently described by a bdonline blogger as looking like \u201ca malformed zebra that has been rolling around in poo.\u201d&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/singleaspect.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/img_4514.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7873\" style=\"border: 0pt none;\" title=\"Img_4514_th\" src=\"https:\/\/singleaspect.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/img_4514_th.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I remembered a comment in the article about dual aspect flats and was keen to see how these were manifested.\u00a0 In fact what I remembered was a comment about frosted glass and so it proved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/singleaspect.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/img_4516.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7877\" style=\"border: 0pt none;\" title=\"Img_4516_th\" src=\"https:\/\/singleaspect.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/img_4516_th.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;She enthusiastically points out the double-aspect living room, although on closer inspection it turns out that every single window in the southern facade has been blocked out with opaque film \u2013 the building across the courtyard being less than the 18m required to prevent overlooking.
