Thanks for that tip-off. Interesting interview with a man who’s very lucid and well-spoken. There are no revelations. I appreciated the understanding of the architect’s role then and now, and the gory details of construction including the cock-ups.
I particularly like this quote from the end
“The whole big conceptual aspect that goes with the housing need we get at the moment, as far as I can see, has been overtaken again simply by a numerical view about what building industry can do with certain advantages given to it by government. That’s not what I consider to be the way to approach a housing programme.”
